Parade of Homes
Yet another popular annual event is the St. George Parade of Homes, a collective open house where the public can tour any number of the Parade-participating houses to admire design work or get inspiration for the construction or decoration of their own homes. Furthermore, those attending the Parade have the opportunity to network with developers, builders, realtors, interior designers, and contractors, depending on which homes and which aesthetic elements inspire them. These exhibitors are usually stationed in the garage of the home they helped to build, where interested Parade guests can introduce themselves and ask questions. Typically, the St. George Area Parade of Homes lists over 25 innovative and distinctive homes, and around 25,000 attendants will tour all or part of them during the two week event held each year in mid February.
