Walking Trails
There are 30 trails available to visitors of St. George, many of which allow bicycles and motorized vehicles that operate below a speed of 20 MPH.  Some of these trails border parks or river beds, while others wind around hills or below city roads. St. George City's official website supplies an overview map of the trails in the area, as well as detailed maps of individual trails to prevent disorientation.

City Trails:
Confluence Trailhead-2000 South Convention Center Drive
The distance for this trail is 12 miles. It is ADA accessible, shaded, paved, has an information kiosk, water, great views, restroom facilities, parking, trailhead and a picnic area.
 
JC Snow Trailhead-900 South 400 East
The distance for this trail is 0.8 miles. It is ADA accessible, shaded, paved, has an information kiosk, water, restroom facilities, parking and a picnic area.
 
Man of War Trailhead-800 West Man O War Road
There is no distance available for this trail. It is ADA accessible, paved, has an information kiosk, water and parking.
 
Riverside Trailhead-1050 East Riverside Drive
The distance for this trail is 6.5 miles. It is ADA accessible, paved, has an information kiosk, and has parking.
 
St. James Trailhead-600 East St James Lane
The distance for this trail is 2.0 miles. It is ADA accessible, paved, has an information kiosk, and parking available.
 
Webb Hill Trailhead -2150 South Hill Road
The distance for this trail is .75 miles. It has scenic views of St. George and the Virgin River as it connects Vermillion Avenue in Bloomington Hills and 60 East. It is handicap, ADA accessible, paved, has parking and a trailhead.
 
Sand Hollow Trailhead-1144 North Lava Flow Drive
The distance for this trail is 1.8 miles. It is paved and connects to the Sand Hollow Aquatic Center and the Canyons Complex. It is handicap accessible, has an information kiosk, and parking available.
 
Tawa Trailhead-2300 North Snow Canyon Parkway
The distance for this trail is 0.5 miles. It is ADA accessible, paved, has an information kiosk, and parking available.
 
Temple Quarry Trailhead-300 South Donlee Drive
The distance for this trail is 2.1 miles. it is a natural surface trail which provides scenic views of St. George and Green Valley. You can access it from Donlee Drive, just northeast of the airport. It is a dirt trail, with parking and a trailhead.
 
Mathis Park Trailhead-1820 West Mathis Park Place
The distance for this trail is 0.5 miles. It is a shaded trail, with water, restroom facilities, parking and a picnic area.
 
Larkspur Park Trailhead-815 East Ft. Pierce Drive
The distance for this trail is 0.2 miles. It is ADA accessible, paved, has an information kiosk, water, restroom facilities, parking and a picnic area.
 
Pioneer Park Trailhead-500 North Red Hills Parkway
The distance for this trail is 0.5 miles. It is shaded, a dirt trail, with an information kiosk, water, parking and a picnic area.
 
Royal Oaks Trailhead-1250 North 1400 West
 
Tonaquint Park Trailhead-1851 South Dixie Drive
 
Bear Claw Poppy Trailhead-2500 West Navajo Drive
The distance for this trail is 5.5 miles. This trail is southwest of St. George. It joins Green Valley to the west side of Bloomington Hill. You can ride from either end as an out-and-back (makes it an 11 miles round trip), or going through other city streets makes it an 11.5 mile loop. It is a dirt trail, has an information kiosk, great views, parking and a trailhead.
 
Highway 18 Trailhead-1750 North Highway 18
The distance for this trail is 6.0 miles. It is ADA accessible, paved, has great views, restroom facilities, and parking.
